Happy Thanksgiving! I know this post is a bit late but I still wanted to share it. This year Joe & the kids & I spent Thanksgiving with my parents and we had a great time!

So my mom was making the giblet gravy & was intrigued by the size of the turkey heart, so of course my dad jumped right in & began a dissection class with the kids! This turkey had a perfect heart, & dad showed the kids each part of it, & described what each part did. It was awesome! We had Thanksgiving & a biology lesson all rolled into one! Homeschooling at it’s finest!

When the food was finally ready the girls jumped right in & filled their plates!

I don’t know who was more excited to sit down & eat,the kids or me & mom! All of us gathered around the table & enjoyed the “fruits of our labor”. The food was wonderful (and not just because I made some of it) and the company was even better!

We had honey baked ham & that is my Apple pie. Our menu for Thanksgiving included, turkey, honey baked ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, mac n’ cheese, rolls, green bean casserole, cranberry brie bites, fruit salad, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, apple pie, & apple cider with mulling spices. It was all so delightful!  I hope your Thanksgiving was as tasty as ours!

After we ate one of my best friends stopped by with her mom and daughter. We had a blast! I will lover her forever! Psalm 107 :1 “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good:His love endures forever.”
