The Fourth of July is a highly significant event in my household, and we celebrate it with great passion. Thanks to extensive research on Ancestry.com, I discovered that my ancestors were among the brave souls who fought for American freedom. They committed treason, risking everything to secure a better future for their country. The same blood that flowed through their veins now runs through mine. I vow to continue their legacy by teaching the next generation about the value of American patriotism. We must keep the spirit of freedom alive by making this day special and memorable. Decorating is an excellent way to show our love and respect for our country. Let us honor our courageous ancestors and celebrate the Fourth of July with unwavering pride and confidence!
My entry way
My entryway always exudes patriotism as I proudly hang the American flag. Although I could not add as much decoration this year due to my busy schedule, I usually add a few items every year and expand my decor per holiday. On this occasion, I have my flag, a little wall decor as well as a few picks in a vase in my entryway. In addition, I have discovered a smart way to save money on decorations. Instead of purchasing rocks from a decor store, I buy them from a home improvement store because they are significantly cheaper. Follow my lead and decorate your entryway confidently, charmingly, and patriotically without overspending.
Fourth of July mantle
This year, I created a boldly patriotic garland using a combination of wired ribbon, and red and blue deco mesh. The pinch and twist method made it look seamless and effortless, while the metallic garland from Hobby Lobby added an extra layer of cheerfulness. I found three charming signs at the dollar store that were perfect for the theme. Next year, I plan to add a white Christmas tree garland and some fun picks to enhance the beauty of this garland. With each addition, my mantel will become more personalized and unique.
A look at my breakfast nook
“Despite my love for chandelier decoration, the hustle and bustle of life has made it impossible to work on it this year. But don’t worry, I guarantee next year will be bigger and better than ever! I did, however, manage to add a few fun pieces on top of my hutch and set the kitchen table.
Fourth of July in the dining room
When decorating my dining room, I always go all out. It’s one of the first rooms you see when you walk into my home, and I want it to make a statement. Recently, I put together a charming table display using things I had lying around, and it turned out amazing! I used a Radio Flyer wagon as the centerpiece and decorated it with frilly summer flowers, an American flag, a pinwheel, and a bold Fourth of July pick. My placemats, chargers, and plates worked perfectly in this room, to complete the look I used cloth napkins. To take it up a notch, my hubby found some food containers that we will use for hamburgers and hotdogs. He also grabbed a package of smaller ones to use as plates. I’m confident that my dining room display will inspire everyone who walks through my door.
The piece de resistance
My holiday tree is the centerpiece of my holiday decoration. With each passing holiday, I take great pleasure in decorating it. It has become an irreplaceable part of our home’s festive atmosphere. This year, I have gone a step further and decorated it for the Fourth of July, for the first time ever. I am thrilled to share it with you and hope that you will find it as delightful as I do!
I love how my holiday decor turned out! Just a reminder that it takes time to build your collection. Start by choosing one thing you really want and build from there, or choose a theme and add to it each year. I found some great Fourth of July decor at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Walmart, Amazon, and even the Dollar Store. Have fun shopping for your decor!”
