Joe and I took the kids to see High School Musical Jr. the play put on by a local high school that my nephews were in. We love all of the High School Musical movies and were excited to get to see High School Musical Jr. the Play!
Start of Something New
Jonathan actually attended this school before we decided to homeschool and several of the kids that were in his class still attend. It was neat to see the kids so grown up and some of them in their senior year! How is that possible?? My child cannot be that close to graduation, right? All of the cast members played their roles very well and I was extremely impressed, especially since we attended their last show of High School Musical Jr.
Get'cha head in the game
This is my favorite song from High School Musical Jr! You can apply this mindset to so much in life. The kids did an amazing job of using the basketballs as props, I didn’t see anyone loose a ball!
Bop to the top
My youngest nephew played the part of Ripper, the skater who confesses to playing the Cello, this is the part where he auditions for the play. All of the girls who sang and danced for this part did a great job!
Stick to the status quo!
So proud of both of my nephews! They both put on quite the performance. My youngest nephew is the one standing on the table in all black.
We're all in this together
This group of kids had such high energy and were pleasant to watch, each of them played their character so very well. I am so proud of all of them!
Intermission
Well I got a pic of most of us! Joe, Caroline, Jonathan, Jamieson, My dad, and mom. My mom was sitting with my brother in laws cousin and her husband. Victoria was on the other side of me and we were sitting right next to a light stand. We had a quick intermission so the kids could do some costume and set changes and they sure do a great job with the small space they have to perform!
Taking a bow
And that’s a wrap! My oldest nephew is in the middle of this pic and he played Chad Danforth. He was awesome, both of my nephews were! High School Musical Jr. was a wonderful play and I would go see it again!
5/5
The many faces of my Brother in law
Every time he takes pictures for us he does these selfies…. I love it! Yes I told him I was putting this on my blog and he didn’t delete them so that gives me fair game!
A gift for Victoria
My parents had to miss Victoria’s birthday dinner this year so they brought her gifts with them. This girl loves to read and has recently started reading the Percy Jackson series, they gifted her the Kane chronicles and she is so excited to get started!
Coach Bolton
I wanted some pictures of the family and my brother in law stopped the Coach and asked for a picture…..
So he obliged! In his defense my brother in law wasn’t specific.
Thank you Coach Bolton for both pictures! (Names have been changed to protect the mischievous) Our whole family had a wonderful time at the play and are looking forward to whats next!
